Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort Wedding

Estero, Florida

Rainy, cloudy wedding day didn’t stop these two from enjoying their moment.

Stephanie and Michael are just so in love with each other, it’s undeniable. I had the chance to photograph their engagement photos at lovers key state park, and really get to know them, laugh with them, and photograph they're love. Come wedding day, it felt so easy, and natural.

It was a perfect morning, we started with taking getting ready photos at their suite in Hyatt Regency Coconut Point, and got the best photos of her entire bridal party in tears, when they got to see Stephanie in her wedding gown for the first time!

Stephanie and Michael decided to do a first look, to calm those nerves and get to spend one-on-one time together before walking down the aisle. When Michael first saw Stephanie in her wedding dress, they were both so incredibly emotional, I was even tearing up behind my camera, just watching everything unfold in front of me. Like I said before, I really got to know Stephanie and Michael on their engagement session, so I truly felt connected to their love story.

As we got closer to the ceremony, the Florida weather just did not want to cooperate with us. Keep in mind, their wedding was in December, and it’s not likely for it to rain… Florida is so unpredictable like that. But it did not stop Stephanie and Michael from enjoying their wedding day!

Since it was raining, we had to push back their wedding ceremony an entire hour. This is why I always recommend to start your ceremony 2 hours before your reception starts, for cases just like this one!! Their reception at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point was supposed to take place outside, but they had to move the entire reception inside. Their wedding planner, Idew Events, was amazing, they seriously moved their entire outdoor reception inside, in under an hour. I was shocked and so impressed! I highly recommend Idew Events, they are an incredible team!

After the ceremony, it stopped raining, and just started to sprinkle outside. We had 30 minutes of daylight remaining, and I asked Stephanie and Michael if they still want to take their wedding party portraits outside under the sprinkling rain. And they said YES! let’s do it! They completely trusted me, and within in 30 minutes, I photographed the bridesmaids, groomsmens, and entire wedding party!

After sundown, the rain just stopped, Hyatt Regency had their Christmas lights wrapped around all their trees, and we were able to take some beautiful bride and groom portraits, with twinkly lights in the background! It was perfect!

Their reception, was definitely one of the best parties I’ve ever photographed! They had a live band from Foreman Productions, and a surprise performance from the groom himself! He was shredding on the guitar and the crowd was literally going wild! It was the best!

Finally the After Party!! Stephanie’s sister, Nicole Rosé, booked a surprise after party for Stephanie and Michael! Where Nicole, Dj’d the entire after party! It was incredible!

It was a beautiful wedding, and I am so honored I was able to capture their love story!
